He pursued his law degree from the Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan Government College of Ajmer.

In 2000 he was appointed as a general secretary of the Akhil Bhartiya Adhivakta Parishad. He held this position till 2009.
Before stepping into the world of political career, he was an advocate in the Supreme Court.
He was also a government counsel for the Liberhan Commission and Justice Wadhwa.
